NEW YORK. The board oi directors of the Motion Picture Association of America have decided to stop the distribution of new and old films glorifying gangsters and criminals and films with "salacious and obscene titles.” Mr Eric Johnston, chairman of the board, announced that the film companies concerned had, agreed to stop the'distribution of 25 films bjectionable titles, including some not yet produced.
