English Rugby Union Conference

LONDON. Thu. 'll a.m.)—Among the important matters considered at the conference of the English Rugby Union, which has just concluded, are the programme for Rugby tours for the next five years and the affiliation of Dominion unions with the International Rugby Board. No official report on the English union’s conference will be issued, because the majority of the matters discussed must go to the conference of the International Board in tire form of recommendations.

Messrs G. A. Maddison and F. E. Sutherland, who are representing the New Zealand union at both conferences, are still awaiting a further reply from the French Rugby Federation whether it will be possible to send a French team to tour New Zealand next season.
