Drake Declines Game In Auckland
Jack Drake, of Whangarei, has been invited to play for the Country team in the match against Town at Auckland on Friday and Saturday but will not be available. He was to have taken the place of T. A. Downes, the fast left-hand Poverty Bay bowler, who dropped oul of the Country team. prake was invited to play yesterday but could not make the necessary arrangements at such short notice. He has been eminently successful for Onerahi this season with his medium-paced bowling and free batting.
