£3OO From Church Fair
KAITAIA. Sat. (Sp.i— From an allout effort yesterday at least £3OO will be added to tiie Kaitaia Parish funds of the Anglican Church. To a successful fair at the A. & P. Hall. Kaitaia the whole parochial district contributed.
The fair grossed over £307, and with contributions from outlying districts £3OO is expected as a net result. Socially the function also was a great success. The effort was aimed at assisting the current year’s appeal for £2OOO to place the parish on a sound footing. Prior to yesterday more than £IOOO of this figure was in hand. Funds are required largely for repairs and maintenance of church property
