41 Aucklanders For Athletic Meeting
The Whangarei Amateur Athletic Club has been notified that 41 Auckland athletes will be competing in the big sports carnival which it is staging at Kensington Park on December 6. The visitors include Wallace Heron, New Zealand pole-vault champion, and Miss Ruth Dowman, national recordholder for the women’s 75 yards. The club expects to have its tracks in excellent order for the first major event of its season.
