Sick Leave Pay For Women In P. Service

WELLINGTON, Tue. (P.A.).—Provisions relating to sick leave for women employed with Public Service, have been extended to enable married women to have six months off in the event of the birth of a child, without loss of sick leave pay to which may be entitled. ‘ Tiie provision which came into force on* November 1, is aimed at encouraging married women to remain in the Fublic Service.
