(P.A.).—Ron McKenzie Now Zealand lawn tennis champion, and Stan Painter, finalist ttwo years ago and a semi-finalist last year met in a match during the week-end for the first time this seasop. Playing as a challenger for top 'position on the Newtown Club's ladder, McKenzie won C—l, 6—l.
