Anti-British Influences At Work

(Rec. 2.20 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 3. A bitter attack on subversive influences which he said were at work in Eritain and the Dominions—“an everincreasing Communist and Red Socialist organisation, anti-King, anti-Bri-tish and anti-Empire, a highly organised body of men and women trained in sabotage, espionage and provocative action”—was made by a Norfolk delegate at the Conservative Partv conference.

When the Norfolk delegate left the rostrum other delegates demanded the debate should continue until, after 10 minutes’ noisy demonstration, the chairman agreed to a full-dress debate on the subject on October 4.
