(Rec. 1.45 p.m.) LONDON, This Day. The English trainer 11. S. Persse, paid the day’s highest price of 5000 gn. for a filly by Solferino from Ranee at the Newmarket yearling sales. The day’s aggregate was 35,100gn. for 40 lots and for the whole sales 186,255gn., of which 14,310gn. represented sales to recognised exporting agencies.
