Bullocks For Britain

(Special) HAMILTON. This Day. An offer to send a further 25 bullocks to England, in addition to the 30 he had already arranged to despatch, provided the residents of Hamilton make the number up to 50, has been made to the Mayor (Mr H. D. Caro) by Mr F. W. Burley .of Hamilton.

In his letter. Mr Burley pointed out | that the people of England were re-1 ceiving very inferior meat, and exceed- ] ingly little of that, and he was sure i that the condition attaching to his j offer would be complied with and that a consignment of 50 bullocks would be sent to England in time to reach Ine recipients before Christmas.
