New Zealand athletes had a workout here today during a brief stop-over of the ship that is taking them to England.

They comprised the Rugby League team and Doug. Harris, the half-milcr, who proposes to train in England for the 19-18 Olympic Games, and also to compete his education there.

CRlCKET.—Piavers beat Gentlemen by an innings and 10 runs. Players made .162. Gentlemen scored 1.13 in the first innings and 217 in the second (Iloworth 4 for 71).
