World Record At Yearling Sales
(Rec. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 12. The Doncaster yearling sales which concluded today, broke the world record for aggregate returns. Three hundred and twenty-six yearlings were sold in four days for 597,725 guineas, an average of 1833 guineas. Today’s sales included a filly by Turkhan from Hyndford Bridge, 9300 guineas; a filly by Hyperion from Rnodean, 1000 guineas; a filly by Fairway from Silver Birch, 6000 guineas.
