Cricket Spirit Strong At Mangapai
The annual meeting of the Mangapai Cricket Club indicated that the enthusiasm for the game in the district is marked. There was a splendid attendance and the club expects to field a stronger side than last vea" in the Mid-Western Association’s competitions. Officers elected were: Patron, Mr W. A. Thomson; president, Mr L. B. Finlayson; vice-presidents, Messrs S. Ormandy. A. Bylc-s, O. Ormandy, A. C. Hayward and J. Sturmfels; secretary, Mr R. M. Thomson.
