A team from the Whangarei Table Tennis Club last night visited Dargaville and met a team representing the Dargaville club.

A close contest resulted, the evening ending with the sets being all square at 22 each, while Whangarei won 55 games to Dargavilie's 511. The standard of play throughout was high and the return game is awaited with interest.
