(Rec. 1.30 p.m.) ATHENS, Aug. 27. Centre Party leaders asked King Paul to convene a “Council of the Crown” (council of Parliamentary leaders) to form a coalition government. Other Greek party leaders told the King that “any unilateral solution of the Government crisis would be harmful to Greek interests.” Battle In Greece (Rec. 10 a.m.) ATHENS, August 27. Troops used artillery and tanks in a five-hour battle with 400 guerillas who attacked Mesi-Melia in Macedonia. The guerillas killed two civilians, wounded six and captured three. Other guerillas blew up a section of the railway line and burned .15 houses in the village of Asvestades, near the Turkish border.
