Portuguese Orders For British Ships
(Rec. 12 Noon.) LONDON. July 4. Portuguese interests have completed placing contracts for £11.500,000 worth of British-built ships, totalling 151,000 tons, including high-class passenger ships, says Reuter. The Portuguese orders will represent 15 per cent, of British shipyards export output.
