Butter For Sailors

i P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Every seaman on ships leaving New Zealand for Britain has during the war years and since received a parcel of 21b of New Zealand butter on his arrival in Britain. This gift was originated by the National Dairy Association. The cost was subsequently borne out of the Dairy Industry Account. Continuance of the gift while the food shortage exists in Britain was approved at the annual meeting of the National Dairy Association.
