WHANGAREI 60UNTY COUNCIL RESTRICTION ON TIMBER CARTING PUBLIC Notice is hdreby given that at a meeting of the Whangarei bounty Council held on the 13th day )f June, 1947, the undermentioned Resolution was passed: “In pursuance of the powers conferred upon it by the provisions of Regulation 7 of the Heavy Motor Vehicles Regulations, 1940, and upon he grounds and for the period herenafter stated, the Whangarei County Council PROHIBITS TIMBER CARTING on all County roads other than highways except where operators are n possession of a special permit ssued under the signature of the bounty Engineer. The said prohibition shall commence ,0 operate on the 3rd day of June, [947, and shall continue to operate intil and including the 30th day of September, 1947. The prohibition of Timber Carting s imposed upon the grounds that sur’ace of roads would be seriously damiged if allowed to continue over the Deriod specified.
