Settlement In French Rail Strike
j PARIS. June 12. ! The French railway strike has been ! settled. The union has ordered its men j to return to work this morning. ! The agreement reached between the j Government and the Railwaymen’s j Union represents a compromise on | both sides. The Government agreed to salary increases totalling £20.625.000 for /the last half of 1947.
