Indian Beats Bold
(Rec. 1.15 a.m.) LONDON. June 12. The Indian Mohan defeated the New Zealander Bold 6—3, 6 —4, in the third round of the men’s singles at the West England lawn tennis championships at Bristol. (It was wrongly reported yesterday that Bold was playing in the Kent tournament. Bold beat the Pole Spychala at Bristol.)
