Conference Ends
A recommendation for the committee on the constitution and rules of the New Zealand Labour Party that the central executive of the party, consisting of five members resident in Wellington, should be abolished and that the national executive should consist of the present 12 divisional area representatives was overruled. The conference ended last night with a fairly substantial portion of its business not completed. The unfinished business was deferred to the next conference, to be held at Dunedin.
