Old Pigeons Judged
Old birds were the class judged by Mr G. W. Drayson at the fourth weekly show of the Whangarei Homing Pigeon Club. The winning cock bird was entered by D. Wilson and the best hen by C. H. Andrews, the latter taking the special prize for the best bird in the show. T. Thorburn won both prizes in the junior section. Details of the judging are: Cocks: D. Wilson 1,2 and 4; C. H. Andrews, 3 and 6; A. Reed and Sons, 5. Hens: C. H. Andrews, 1; D- Wilson, 2, 3 and 4; A. Hooker and Sons, 5; A. Reed and Sons, 6. \
Junior. —Cocks: T. Thorburn, 1 and 2; D. Kocich, 3; P. Vitali, 4. Hens: T. Thorburn ,1; D. Kocich, 2; P. Vitali, 3.
