Appeal Dismissed
(Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, June 4. The Court of Criminal Appeal dismissed the appeal of Eric Charles Briggs who was convicted and sentenced to death on May 17 for the murder of his wife at Leeds. During the hearing of the case a young soldier had testified that he murdered Briggs’ wife.
