More British Cars

(Special) WELLINGTON, This Day. It is thought that Britain may be able to send to New Zealand more cars than had been originally anticipated. Import licences for 13,000 vehicles have been granted, but it is hoped that when proof of availability is given further licences will be granted.

Assembly plants in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch hope to handle well over 16,000 or 17.000 cars from Britain, Canada and the United States.
