Car Over 40ft Bonk; Driver Lives
(P.A.) AUCKLAND. This Day. • Hurtling in a car. which ran off the road and plunged 40ft to the beach below, the driver, Mrs Margaret Helen Cross, 52, of St Helier's escaped death today. She suffered concussion and cuts but her condition is not considered grave. The car did not somersault, the front landing on the beach and the back against the cliff base. One front wheel flew off.
