Many Vacancies For Workers
Thirty-one employment vacancies for males and 33 for females occurred in the Northland district last month. Placements numbered 16 males and 12 females.
At present there are six disengaged males, including three fit for light work only.
There are no disengaged females. Because of the slack period of the season the demand for labour last month showed a slight decrease.
