Locked Library Frustrates Student ?

(Special) HAMILTON, This Day. A boy aged 14 was charged with arson before Mr S. L. Paterson. S.M., in the Hamilton Children's Court yesterday. This was the sequel to fires at the Te Awamutu High School on February 17, 20. and April 13. Senior-Detective Murray said the boy had been in the habit of entering the school library during the evenings to study. One night he found the library door locked and, in a sense of frustration, he set fire to the building. Damage totalling £3340 had been done in the first fire, including the destruction of £B4O worth of books.

At the request of the Child Welfare Deoartment, the case was adjourned until April 24. _ .
