No Increase In Cake Price
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Information has reached the Price Tribunal that some pastrycooks and cake shop proprietors have, since the recently-announced increase in the cost of sugar to commercial users, increased the prices of cakes and small goods. The tribunal stated that no such prices had been authorised and any person who made the increases was liable to prosecution.
