Regular Army Appointments

(Special) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Minister of Defence (Mr Jones) yesterday announced the names of 62 officers who have been appointed to permanent commissions in the Regular Force following the six weeks’ course at Trentham. The officers have now been posted to army and district headquarters, area offices, military camps and units throughout the Dominion. All the officers, said the Minister, had had long experience in the 2nd NZEF or in the British Army. Many of those from the NZEF had served in the ranks of the New Zealand Regu- ! lar Force before the war. Appointments have been made as follows: Major (temporary-Lieutenant Colonel) T. C. Campbell.
