Ex-Brown Shirts Deny Conspiracy Charges

(Rec. 11.0 a.m.) MUNICH, April 8. Four former high-ranking Brown Shirt officers pleaded not guilty to charges of having organised a secret illegal body aimed at propagating Nazi ideology and threatening the security of the Allied occupation forces. They are SS members Major-Gen-eral Wilhelm Dittler. Brigadier-Gen-eral Albert Wiczonke, Colonel Ewalcl Bartel, and Senior-Colonel Arno Schiefiner, whose arrest in July, 1946. was not revealed until March 26 to allow Allied security forces to round up their followers.
