Auckland Gifts For Flood Relief
(Special.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Three substantial donations, one of £SOO and two of £IOO, were given by Auckland citizens yesterday to the flood relief fund for Britain, recently opened by the Mayor (Mr J. A. C. Allum).
Yesterday, about £BOO was collected all told and Mr Allum said that keen interest w as being shown everywhere in the fund.
Many people had expressed their pleasure to him at being given the opportunity of making donations, which would be passed on to the Lord Mayor of London’s flood relief fund.
