Ten Killed In Fireworks Blast
(Rec. 2.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, April 2. Ton were killed, two are missing, and five injured in an explosion which levelled a fireworks’ plant at Clinton, Missouri, today.
The fire which followed the explosion gutted the building. The company was engaged in the manufacture of toy helicopters, in addition to fireworks.
The dead appeared to have been killed instantly by the searing sheet of flame that enveloped the building.
