Easter racing carnivals will commence on Saturday, with fixtures at Ellcrsiie, Feilding. Rotorua, Wairarapa, Riverton and Beaumont, and trotting events at Hawern and Addington. Champagne Stakes, 6 furlongs: Ladyship, Niloeh. Master Coronach. 2.s—Mangere Steeplechase, about 2A miles: Diamond King. Good View, Airiie. 3.50 Onslow Stakes. 6 furlongs: Golden Beau. Magic Wand, Robin Leigh. 4.40 Eden Handicap. 1 mile: Jeep, King's Ransom, Coolgardie. ROTORUA ’ For the President’s Handicap, l.{ miles, the principal event at Rotorua, there will be support for Bedivere, Pola and Hunting Rua, while the Electric Handicap, six furlongs, may sec Quick Draw, Irish Poet and Bueno most prominent. FEILDING: Langue d’Or may be best supported for the Feilding Cup, If miles, with Arco and Pola also fancied. The open six may be fought out between Specialist, Shiraz and Fort Royal.
