Child Struck By Backing Truck
<Special) HAMILTON. This Day. Injuries from which he died shortly after his admission to the Waikato Hospital were received by a child who was struck by a truck in Frankton yesterday morning. He was: Terence Francis Synott, aged 19 months, son of Mr and Mrs A. J. Synott. of 103 Rifle Range Road. Frankton. The child was playing in a narrow alley behind a truck while the driver was delivering coal and was apparently struck when the driver backed out to the road.
