Jewish Problem For UNO Soon

(Rec. 2.0 p.m.) NEW YORK, Mar. 28. A British spokesman said that the Palestine problem will be given to the United Nations within 24 hours, together with a request for a special session of the General Assembly to deal with it.

A gang of six or seven Jewish youths clubbed to the ground, beat and kicked a Jewish police corporal, Mordechai Berger, who was previously reported to have been shot, says an official statement. He died from his injuries.

Berger had 16 years’ service with the Palestine police and had received 94 recommendations “for devotion to duty.” It was the third time Berger had been attacked.
