Conservatives On Govt. Weakness 1
(Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, Mar. 13. The annual meeting of the central council of the National Union of Conservative and Unionist Associations, carried a motion condemning the Government’s “weak, incompetent handling of internal and external affairs which led to the l’apid development of a broad national crisis of which fuel and power shortages were the first symptoms.” The motion pledged the Conservative Party to any remedies, however drastic, required to re-establish British industrial and political economy on a sound and lasting basis.
