Lawlessness In Burma

(Rec. 11.0 a.m.) RANGOON, Feb. 27. Sir Arthur Bruce, the chairman, told the annual meeting of the Burma Chamber of Commerce that the Government could not make further progress until reasonable law and order was re-established throughout the country. Lawlessness was going from bad to worse. Burma’s future would be gravely endangered unless the strongest measures were taken immec’/'Ui'iv to control the situation.
