Skinner s Visit To Northland

(Special) WELLINGTON, This Day

The Minister of Lands and Commissioner of State Forests (Mr Skinner) has postponed his visit to Northland and the Waipoua Forest for a week because of an engagement in Wellington.

The Minister will travel to Whangarei on March 10.

At Wellsford he will meet members of the local branch of the Federated Farmers.

On March 11 he will inspect Waitangi, the Kapiro experimental farm and Lake Omapere. He will spend the night at Kaikohe and the next day will visit Kaitaia, returning south to Opononi that evening.

Mr Skinner will inspect the Waipoua Forest on March 13 and at Dargaville in the evening will discuss the question of drought relief with local farmers. He will return to Auckland on March 14, leaving that evening by train Cor Wellington.
