NOMINATIONS close with Ihe Secretary, Crnnley Street, Dargaville, at 5 p.m, WEDNESDAY, January 29. 1947. 1. —Horses to be owned, trained and ridden by persons other than licensed trainers, jockeys, stablemen or persons employed in or about the management training, riding or care of horses registered under the Rules of Racing. 2. —Horses to be at least 12 weeks away front a registered training establishment immediately prior to date of Race Meeting. 3. —Committee reserves the right to decline any nomination. 4. —No rider for any event to be under 14 years of age. 5. —No more than the number allowed by the New Zealand Racing Conference will be permitted to start on the course. committee reserves the right to arfer the order of running of events. 7. —No riders considered by the officials of the Club to be under the influence of liquor will be allowed to ride. 8. —No Bookmakers or Bookmaker’s Clerk will be allowed on the course. 9. —Winners will be rehandicapped. 10. —-All riders take part at their own risk and the club will be in no way liable for damage or injury to horses or equipment. 11. —All horses must be nominated under their correct owner’s and registered names and details of breeding and age submitted. 12. Details of past performances of all horses must accompany nominations, stating the name of meeting, weights carried and whether placed first, second or third. 13. —Entrance Fees must accompany all nominations. 14. —Riders may race in registered colours of owners provided that details of colours are submitted with-nominations.
