Italy Refuses Tito's Offer
(Rec. 10.30 a.m.) ROME, Nov. 7. The Italian Council of Ministers announced it had refused to consider Tito’s offer to give Trieste to Italy in exchange for Gorizia, and added that Gorizia was an integral part of .Italian territory and had been recognised as such by the Big Four Foreign Ministers. »
Signor Nenni told the Press: “However, if Tito desires to examine all problems confronting both countries, Italy is favourably inclined to negotiate 1 immediately with Yugoslavia.”
