Oil Locomotive Easy To Operate
(P.A.) PALMERSTON N., This Day. The experimental K.A. class locomotive fitted to burn crude oil arrived at Palmerston North oj» Tuesday after its first trial run from Wellington. It ran light to Paekakariki, where it piclvd up a mixed goods train and brought it to Palmerston North. The experiment could be called successful, said the official in charge of the experimental run. It could not yet be seen how expensive the locomotive would be to run, but it was safe to say that it would not be very much more expensive than coal.
