Celebrity Concerts Become Popular
(P.A.) AUCKLAND. This Day. Celebrity concerts with guest artists are increasing in popularity in Australia, according to the Melbourne singer, Miss Peggy Knibb, who arrived at Auckland to begin a tour of New Zealand, singing with choral societies at various centres.
Miss Knibb, who is a soprano, was invited to New Zealand by the secretary of the Wellington Choral Union, and wiil sing in “Hiawatha” at Wellington, and in “The Messiah” at several cities and towns.
