Denounced Fellow Frenchmen; Shot
(Rec. 10.30 a.m.) PARIS, Nov., 5. A firing squad at Rennes executed three Frenchmen convicted of denouncing members of the resistance movement to the Gestapo.
They were: Joseph Ruyet, member of the Vichy militia; Leon Schwaller, former leader of a militia group who was accused of torturing many patriots whom he denounced; and Jean du Peron ae Maurin, who was responsible for deporting hundreds of Jews to death camps.
