From Beyond Death's Veil
“We have all seen the modern graves and when I am dead and buried I want to see myself in one of them.” This unusual ambition was stated by Cr J. F. Johnson at a meeting of the Whangarei Borough Council last night when speaking on cemetery improvements.
Fellow councillors greeted the statement with glee and Cr Johnson admitted he had made a slip.
