Milk Bottles But No Crates Available

Enough one-pint milk bbttles are now available to permit a complete change-over in the Whangarei Milk District from loose to bottled supply. Sufficient crates are not available, however, to allow the change to be made.

This was reported to the Milk Authority last Right by the treating house, which, stated that the change over to bottled supply would be made as soon as possible. As far as possible the change would be made a zone at a time. Increased supplies of bottled milk had been made in the past on a pro rata basis to contract roundsmen and other vendors.
