Dr Buckley New Club President
MINIATURE RIFLES
The new president of the Whangarei Miniature Rifle Club is Dr H. F. Buckley. He was elected at a committee meeting to replace Mr G. R. Ramshaw, who left on transfer to Auckland. Messrs S. Bernet and W. Howie were appointed to fill vacancies on the committee. Three marksmen totalled 69 in the third shoot of the monthly handicap series last evening. They were E. Sheehan. U. Seux and N. Penney. Detailed results are: E. Sheehan 66—3—69; U. Seux 64—5—G9; N. Penney 60—9—6 D: D. McArthur 61— 5—86; Mrs Foot 59—0—67; Miss M. Smith 66—5—65; S. Withers 64 —scr —64; L. Holmes 64 —scr —64; S. Fool 62—2—64; T. MeKeown 58—6—64; G. Neville 63 —scr —63; L. Thompson 60—3—63; C. Corp 56—6—62; Mrs Teal 55—5—60. A sweep shoot, for teams of three was won by S. Foot. 08, L. Holmes 59 and Mrs Foot 52, total 174. G. Neville 58, S. Withers 52 and H. McGregor 51. total 161, were second.
