Olivier, Vivien Leigh May Visit N.Z.
(Special) AUCKLAND. This Day. Laurence Olivier and his wife, Vivien Leigh, are expected’ to tour Australia and New Zealand next year -at the head of a company from London’s Old Vic Theatre. ♦According to the London correspondent of Variety, the American entertainment journal, Mr Olivier and Miss Leigh are to leave London about the end of this year to make a picture in Hollywood. They are to return to England in May to draw up an Old Vic repertoire, which for the first time will include Miss Leigh, to tour Australia and New Zealand for about a year.
