Motor Relieensing Rush Expected
Although special accommodation for relicensing motor vehicles has been provided in Whangarei. many owners have neglected to make early tioninsufficient work to keep occupied the stall provided led to a reduction at the special office in Butlers Building. Bank Street, with the result that more than 1000 vehicles, based on last year s figures, still have to be relicensed if they are to be used next Monday. Last week the average number of applications was 100 daily but the wet weather at the end of the week and yesterday caused a sudden drop and it now appears there will be some congestion as motorists endeavour during the remaining days of the month to relicence their vehicles.
