Eggs Very Short
(Special.) AUCKLAND. This Day. The Auckland Master Grocers' Association has decided to limit sales of eggs to the needs of invalids and young children.
Until recently grocers have managed to supply each customer with a few eggs weekly, but with the supply down to 15 per cent, of normal requirements, and the shortage not likely to be relieved until the new laying commences in the spring, the step taken was considered most necessary.
