Russians Stop Vote On Fusion
(Rec. 11 a.m.) BERLIN. Mar. 31 Officials of the Social Democrat Farty in the Russfan zone in Berlin were informed today that the local commander, for technical reasons, was unable to permit polling in the plebiscite on the fusion of the party with the Communists.
Russian guards stopped a British correspondent from entering one district to investigate the situation, and sent him under armed escort to the local kommandatura for questioning.
